DRESSES and SKIRTS

Of all the things that set us apart as girls, the most niticeable are the skirted garments. In fact they are "gender-specific"; a grownup idea that says they are just for girls and help to define what being a girl is

They are sometimes worn with long panty-stockings but are perfectly and best wron with the legs s visible and a pair of panties under them

A SKIRT is just the "bottom" that at the very least covers the chastity area and some of the legs. It is worn with a blouse or top
A DRESS is a one-piece top and bottom. The top is called the "Bodice" and the bottom is called the Skirt"

Skirts, both by themselves and as the bottom half of a dress come in 3 kinds: "Panel", made of sheet material, "Full Circle" amde of a piece of material cut in a circle with the center cut out according to how big the waist of the persons it is menat for and "Half Circle", where a half-circle of material is used to make the skirt from

There are varying amounts of "full"ness: How far out the skirt sticks, "straight", "A-line" and "full"
This is also true of the blouse and bodice of a dress

There are various waist heights. "normal": around the waist of the person, "dropped" lower, on the hip and "high" anywhere from a bit under the nipples the nipples to just above the tummy. near the nipples is often called Empire

The lenght of a skirt can vary. Above the knee, at the knee, below the knee which can be Tea Length, calf lenght and ankle lenght. There are some that drag along the floor but we will not concern ourselves with them

There is also a gown but that is more defined by the use and tends to be more for "formal" occasions

Here at RUFFLES & RIBBONS GIRLS' HOME we concern ourselves with the lenghts at and above the knee and this refers to everyday wear

With us. skirt lenght relates to age and status. The older you are, the longer your skirts are allowed to be. This is on purpose, the shorter the skirt, the more of your body we can get at to either fondle or chastize you. The skirt length is named for your staus here. If you are being chastized, then you are put in shorter skirts as part of humiliation.

These are the kinds

  • Baby length; 0 to 3. halfway to the knee
  • Little length: 4 to 7: 2/3 to the knee
  • Little Miss length: 8 to 11; 3/4 to the knee
  • Mistress lenght ("mistress" is often used for a girl of this age): 12 to 15; 7/8 to the knee
  • Miss (Title, not what one is called, Like "Miss Sandra") lenght: 16 to 19; just above the knee
  • Lady length 20 and over (I am "Lady" Bridghet and Sandra is "Lady" Snadra from the Fairy "Dona"); at or just below the knee One may wear a shorter skirt if one wishies but not a longer one, However, because of being in shorter skirts, usualy baby lenght, are seen as part of being chastized, that is usually not done in public

    A special garment is the babydoll which we discuss later and is mostly used for chastizement and is designed to encourage fondling and lifting as part of that

    As far as tops or blouses, the ones we wear are quite full

    If you look at one of us, you see that the dress/skirt carries the shape begun with our hair which is at least shoulder lenght and worn down in front and usually with a tiara or Alice band.

    How one is dressed is alos more or less "frilly" with ruffles and lace trim. We keep the frilliness to a minimum so that the shape of the dress/skirt-blouse will stand out. Frills, sepcially rullfels, tend to obscure it. Also they make the garment more complicated and harder to take cakre of and wear since you must always be careflul not to snage, catch or in some other way damage the

    This style of dress and grooming, is pleasant to look at, easy to care for and is not constricting while also keeping the whole very feminine
