CONDUCT Your posture and conduct are to reflect a ladylike demeanor at all times. you are to stand or sit straignt without slouching.

At the beginning of each day, you are to be ready for class and at the opeining bell, prepared to do what is asked of you
You are to speak only in a soft but clear voice, in a respectful manner to your teachers and staff and use langauge and expression that is nothing but ladylike
You will answer to your first and middle name, call other girls by the same, when asked to say who you are, give your first, middle and last names and the like
You will call your teacers and other grownups either "My Lady" or "Lady" and her name
As part of the class opeining excersizes and when entering a room with a grownup, you shall first curtsy to the grownups therein.

DAILY CEREMONIES<
Opening Ceremonies Each girl is to be in her seat at the last bell
at that bell,If not wearing a tiara, each is to remove her alice band and put on one of her tiaras and stand
Each girl is to lightly grasp the hem of her skirt or dress with the thumb and index finger of each hand so she will be ready to curtsey, which you will learn how to do here.
the class is to recite the Girls' Promise
Teacher will call each girl's first, middle and last name, when this is done, that girl is to say "Yes, my Lady" and curtsey, then rise, still holding her skirt as it was
When Teacher says "You may be seated" the girls curtsey and take their seats and may unless told otherwise reomve their tiaras and replace their alice bands.

To Start Each Class The girls are to stand, when teacher says "Please curtsey" the are to grasp their skirts and do so remaining at the bottom until to rise and then hold their skirts until Teacher tells them to be seated.

Closing Ceremony The girls are to remove their alice bands and put on their tiaras, stand, grasp their skirts and recite "Aphrodite"
The teacher is to move to the door and say "You may now leave"
the girls file out in a line, still holding their skirts, when they come to where teacher is standing each is to say her first and middle name, start to curtsey and wait at the bottom until teacher offers her ring to be kissed and kiss it, then stand, still holding the skirt slightly raised until Teacher says the girl's first and middle name and "You may now leave" at which point the girl is to, if she wishes, retrun to her seat, remove her tiara and replace her alice band . Otherwise she may just leave, If Teacher says the girl's name and "Return to your seat" she is to do just that and remain standing by her seat with her hem still slightly reased until Teacher tells her to sit down.
