The display should clear up or give you a set of instructions. WARNING: PICTURES EAT UP A LOT OF SPACE,BETWEEN 2KB AND 2MB IS WHAT I HAVE SEEN, AND SOMETIMES TAKE A WHILE TO LOAD!!

If you have Paint, you can make collages of pictures by using Paste From. This is useful for making wallpapers and backgrounds for pages

Create and name a new folder 2 Find the pictures you want and convert them to bmp by using Save As and clicking on the bottom long box and selection bitmap If you have them in a folder already, just call the photo editor and use File Save As. If you are taking them from a website, use the Save As function
Save these converted pictures to the folder you have created
Go to Paint.
Go to Image and Attributes set the size of the background you want: For wallpaper, use your screen size in pixels, For folder backgrounds, you must use trial and error
Use text to put in a title
Select Edit and Paste From and the folder with the bitmaps for each of the pictures. NOTE: there is a nasty little thing that happens sometimes called the image on the clipboard is too large for the bitmap. To beat this, save each time you put a picture in place. NOTE: You can resize any picture in bitmap form by going to the Image, then Stretch/Skew and using the horizontal% and vertical% boxes, or, if you know how big you want it in pixels, cm or inches, go to Image, Attributes, select the measurement standard and just input the numbers for width and height that you want and save the result with clicks on X, Save Changes Yes
select the picutre you want and select Open
When the picture comes up, drag it to where you wnat it
Click the upper right X and say Yes to Save Changes and save it to the same folder from which you are working. Once you are more confident, you can eliminate this step. If you get the "image in clipboard..." worning. Click OK and click X/Save Changes/Yes
Repeat steps 8 to 11 until you are done
After the final Save Changes/Yes, call it back up, go to File, Save As and change the filetype to a JEPG or a GIF since most HTML website editors will reject bitmaps 1 If you do not like what you have done, cleik Edit and Undo before you do anything else
