EPILOGUE

Like most Flori Di Estelle, I abhor the sryl. THeir rule was based on slavery of the worst kind and took 90 generations of our people, not to mention that this was used on my particular race or the thousands of lives it took to break that way of life. We would never wish to see it come back as the normal way that things are done. However, elements of sryl are still permitted in certain cases and some of these are part of our culture. A cheated spouse may inflict sryl on her betrayer and if a girl takes as a bride a rubber girl, she may take another wedding partner in the sryl manner and the two ladies may both take sryl titles and add "sryl" to their names. However, I am a very traditional girl and like the Old Ways in general. There is a sryl wedding in our future and we have the perfect Bride. I kind of get a little thrill out of it. Let me explain

My little girl, Kirianne, who is 7, soon to be 8, spends a good deal of time over at RUFFLES & RIBBONS GIRLS' HOME. There she met a wonderful little girl named Andrea Lynne, who is 9. Well, they have a scrumptious relationship that could easily mean wedding flowers in the future. Just everybody loves this idea except Lady Tooth and Lady Tiara. Housemistress Sandra Lynelle and Rubber Nurse Bridget Alicia are ecstatic and I am thrilled beyond measure. Now, Andrea Lyne will be given the Fairy name of Andrea Lynise Kirianne and Kiriann's whole name will be Kirianne Dorilise Andrea. Andrea Lynne is dark-haired with black eyes, which we thought may cause a problem of acceptance but everyone who meets her is just charmed to pieces by her and her eyes are very expressive and the onyx color just adds to that charm and gives her a strong sense of aliveness and of the exotic that we love, and since she is not a Fairy. They willingly accept her and my Clan Mistress has made arrangements to isuue both a Writ of Manumition that makes here a Free Citizen of Monda Di Aurea and a Certificate of Membership in our Clan

Andrea Lynne brings a bonus: The little Part-Fairy Christine Daryleanne Kirstra Paradise. It was decided that they would be wed when they came of age for Marriage. She is a Rubber Girl, or as we say, A Rainflower Girl as it is. Under modern forms, Andrea could nort marry both Kirianne and Christine. But since they both like treating her as a sryl bride to start with and are quite good at it; well how could Kirianne not be: She is Rubber Lady's little girl and Andrea Lynne has just such a special way with Christine, I just may see about making her a Rubber Lady. Lady Sandra and Nurse Bridget approve of this, and Nurse Bridget is a Fairy Rubber Lady in her own right: I put the pink stone in her tiara myself. All of this is just soooo ready to happen

I look forward to a very traditional wedding in my family and Christine will be such a pathetic little Bride in all her rubber finery


OTHER SRYL CONTRIBUTIONS TO OUR CULTURE

The Sryl left their mark in other ways: Mostly on our use of rubber. They started the practice of making our little girls wear the button-down rubber cape, especially the very shiny see-through ones that are most common. If you read The Rubber Little Girl Treasury, you find a very elaborate system of rubber treatemnt. When the sryl came into power, our "rubber culture" was mostly just giving the simplest of wetsies and the style of the girl's dresses was just slightly above the knee, high waisted and of somewhat infantile design. The sryl gave us the babydoll and halfway to the knee skirts and dresses. Most of the more excruciating kinds of wetsies were invented by the sryl

Snce the Sryl kept their "little blondie" slaves always in rubber, usually babydolls, they had and used the opportunity to study how being always in rubber affected the poor girl whose lot it was to be so dressed,This subject they named florandra,meaning "flowering","in flower" or what they call, at RUFFLES & RIBBONS GIRLS'HOME, en fleurette. A sryl Lady would often sit in a rocking chair for a few hours entertaining herself by holding and gently fondling one of her "blondies" using the somewhat lame excuse that the girl had been "a little Darylette", which could mean anything. The pathetic creature endured the material rubbing on her body; and My Lady knew just where to fondle, favroring the nipples, tummy and upper thighs and doing so in such a way that the material rubbed on these parts, with the certainty of what awaited her at the end and the Lady enjoyed fondling the material, feeling her little victim wriggling and moaning or whimpering while My Lady softly scolded her prize, recided "flower poetry" and/or singing "flower songs", not to mention the light kisses on her victims lips. One would think that after about 4 hours of this , the blondie would find the wetsy at the end a relief but a well-schooled sryl could easily see to it that this was not so and blondie would usually be bedridden for almost two days after this little soujorun through Rubberland after which sho would be horribly wetsied as chastizement for not attending her duties. This soon acqured the name of "petalling her [My Lady's] flower" and made official "flower" being the name of the part between the legs where a girl feels rubber the most. Also Blondies were given flower names added to their own names like "Blondie Tulip", "Blondie Rose" or "Blondie Rainflower"

10/12 of what is taught in Rubber Nursing School was put together from the writings of sryl Rubber Mistresses. There is a strong hint of sryl culture in the Rubber Nursing schol in both teachers and pupils; especially one Brizheta Alise Larochelle when she was there. I had to give her a pass since she was exceedingly good, owned one of the first rubber sheets; which was used on little Alice from the "Alice" Stories, her people did not endure the 90 generations of the Pink Horror that was the period of sryl rule and when she was a little girl, I had been overy harsh with her and owed her much to make up for that (It must have been the sryl in me as I am a very traditional Rubber Lady). However she puts them to good use keeping RUFFLES & RIBBONS GIRLS' HOME orderly and the girls on their best behavior which give D'Arielle a good name, The brooch of her cloak is the sryl pink pearl Rainflower Tree flower with the amethyst in its center on an onyx background which had been an actual sryl pendant that she won in a class project contest in her Rubber History class and then adapted as a brooch. I ought have warned Lady Kiersandra, the Class Mistress, about her and she has been dubbed "Brizheta sryl'Malicia" but not to her face. The sryl increased our Rainflower Tree forests, from which comes rubber in all its forms, 50 fold

Bridget Alicia La Rochelle imported and adapted many sryl ideas to RUFFLES & RIBBONS GIRLS HOME. For example, the sryl moved the Mistress winter celebration to a fixed day. This was the day, according to the writings of Queen Tiara, that Lady Melestra first used rubber on Darylette, and we changed back to the first five days of Winter. Also the sryl modified it so that at the beginning of the 5-day period. A little girl was chosen by Mistress Winter as Princess. As a bonus present, to start the party, she was let to pick out one of the blonde little girls who was then rubber babydoll'ed and given an elaborate, long and very unpleasent wetsy. To end the party, two blondie little girls would be rubber babydoll'ed with just a rubber diaper and two pair of rubber panties under the short little dress so that when they wet a puddle would form to make the event clear to all, a big rubber covered mat was put down and the two wrestle each trying to subdue and wetsy the other. This is the RUBBER WETSY WRESTLE of today that is used at RUFFLES & RIBBONS GIRLS' HOME. This was also used as a form of trial by ordeal to settle disputes and often, for entertainment of guests or the like, two slaves would be picked to do this and there would be wagering on th outcome. it was the sryl that set the tradition of one participant bein in pink with white panties and the other in white with pink panties with second panty beig transparent so that the person's hand could be seen between the two panties giving thw wetsy

RUFFLES & RIBBONS GIRLS' HOME uses most of the sryl Mistress Winter party customs and has their party on the day the sryl would, which is all right since it lets Mistress Winter serve at both our party and theirs. This year my little Kirianne is to be the Princess and will choose Christine Daryleanne to be the Wetsy Girl, but this will be at the end. Most Mistress Winters leave before this event. When it falls to me to be Mistress Winter, I stay and see to it that the Princess will do it right. This year I am Mistress Winter: No, I did not pick Kirianne, that was already decided since she is very popular there and I won the Lottery in Fairyland. I suspect Her Majesty had something to do with that: I can just imagine if Lady Tiara had won and had to be Mistress Winter at RUFFLES & RIBBONS GIRLS' HOME with my Kirianne as Princess, since she is overly fond of Christine Paradise. I plan to give special attention to my little Kirrianne, who, along with her chrerished Andrea Lynne, will "french" Christine over the course of the evening to make the wetsy extra special for her and impress Their beloved Lady Sandra and Rubber Nurse Bridget. It was considered by the sryl a good omen if the "blondie" screams, cries and sobs or whimpers copiously


The SRYL RUBBER BABYDOLL

One thing that has not changed from the Pink Horror is the style of babydoll used as chastizement for bad little girls, trollopy Fairies and marriage cheaters. It is a babydoll that is half-way to the knee and most often pink though it may be any color. Since a sryl home had many slaves, or "baby dolls", usually about 8, an easy to put on dress would be very welcome. This left more time to see to the diapering. Sryl Ladies enjoyted dressing their slaves themselves

This was the standard dress that syrl Ladies put on their blondie slaves, It was just a full circle or flair skirt. The idea was two-fold:

  1. a dress that would be easy to put on, just put it on the girl and fold the top over to set the length to half-way to the knee and have an attractive ruffle at the top, known to this day as a "sryl" ruffle. In the later years, this became so emblematic of the slave aspect of sryl culture that it often reached absurd dimension, as much as from the hand to the wrist in size. When this style was adapted for chastizing fairylets, the girl would often be called "my little blondie" or "my little bridelet" just to "rub it in"
  2. Being an off the sholder, sleeveless and short dress, it left much of the body exposed to be done with as My Lady wishes. This made it clear to the "blondie" that her body was to be used as the ladies of the house wished
Also it is light and airy and can be used on all but the warmest days, often not even needing a layer of powder on the insdie to keep it from being sticky so that it always rubs freely on the body, causing the caressig feeling

So, we have very mixed feelings about the sryl, most of them bad
